Hi all

As I work on learning about these intriguing (and frustrating) stamps, I found this interesting ink oddity. Is this just an exaggerated ink smear, or something stranger? Is this a common oddity?

Chris

Hi Chris. All the ink on the bottom is likely bad plate wiping

This could be classified as a possible Shifted Transfer caused by original defective roller and roller pressure...Or as common as man made smear.

If you need a professional advice. contact Ralph at re-entries.com.
