Hi all - another oddity, is the upper right blob actually a displaced plate dot (guide dot?) The stamp seems to indicate a 41, but the colour doesn't seem to show any vermilion. Perf 12.15 which seems a bit high for a 37.
Peter - thanks for that. In my readings, it seems that the PD at LL is expected, but in the hundreds of 3c SQ I have studied, I've not seen the PD at UR, unless very near the perforations.
Robert - pretty sure the perf 12.15 is accurate, so not 41a. Colour is also too dull for the rose carmine.
