I really like old American stamps. Unfortunately, I often have a problem with the proper specification of the catalog number. Thank you in advance for any help. Regards from Poland.

Thank you very much for help. So, as it often happens, these are the most popular versions of these stamps.
I will take this opportunity to ask additional questions. Is it worth assessing such stamps (gradding ??). Do you think these stamps are rated F, VF or maybe XF? I attach two more scans, in my opinion these stamps are of good or very good quality? And what do you think about it?

Sopotsopot,

Dzien dobry, panie! If you are asking whether the four stamps you have shown are worth submitting to an expertizing service for a numerical grade in order to enhance resale value, I'd have to say no. The 10-cent eagle and shield is fairly off-center, and none of the others is extraordinarily well-centered, or at least enough to warrant a numerical grade (a possible exception might be the #24, which I'd describe as VF-XF). That said, they are all very attractive stamps and if you were to put them up for sale on ebay or Hip Stamp you would definitely attract buyers.

The 262 is centered high and to the right. It's F-VF or about a 75 based on centering. If it is used, the light cancel is a plus. If it is mint, it is dirty.

[edited - wrong scott #]

The 262 would grade about a 70 if problem free. It appears to me to be reperfed on the bottom. The 116 is not worth grading based upon centering and the pulled perf hurts it a great deal.
