Hi guys.
Can an expert eye tell me if there is a re-entry in the middle of the 2 on the left. Or if it is an ink problem ?

Paul.

Hi Paul
Thought at first it was a DRY PRINT, but probably a piece of paper stopping ink from printing and fell off after the next sheet.

Tks Robert for your expertise for the possible presence of debris on the printing plate!
I also have another one in the same category, it looks like a fiber left this mark on an old 107, the fiber is not there and under high magnification, it looks more like surplus ink in a crack . I can not get a better picture with my scanner, so I used a macro lens through a magnifying loupe with side lighting.
I do not know how you can have the passiveness to scrutinize all your stamps as you do, me, I abound very quickly.

Paul.

Hi Paul
You said you can not see the oddity thread...Because when I was a printer, we had 2 oddities..One was a fiber left on what was printed..The other is what us printers called a "tail"..Which is ink spatter when heavy inking is used.
Below is an example of a "tail" on my Scott 137..

Are you sure there is NO fiber..??
I see lighting differences on your stamp..Arrows point to highlighted areas and darker on the opposite side...Without the stamp in hand, looks like fiber was dislodged during the printing process..see below.

Just my opinion.
Robert
