G'day from Australia. My main collecting interests is Australia and Japan and issues like the British "Machins" and Penny Black/red/2d blue queen Victoria. I haven't seen much of your forum yet so maybe its not a place for me anyway? Though I have the beginnings of a US precancels collection I need to learn more about before I can plan how I want to layout but not in any hurry. I enjoy the detailed study aspect of the actual stamps and that seems something that needed in Precancels. I dont bother with USA stamps otherwise. Over the years my collecting interest has evolved to this point as my knowledge and health circumstances and budget change. Boring really. I have very specific buying wishlists and know where I can get them if I have money to spare, so I dont expect people trying to bug me offering stuff or wanting stuff so hawkers just stay away. I'm here for the hobby and sharing and happy to move on if you prefer. steve

Welcome Steveb. And yes, when you get to 50 posts and can email me, I'll be glad to send you some US pre-cancels. Not out of charity, because I want someone to have them who will appreciate them. Don't collect them but as we all know you end up with piles of stuff you don't technically collect. Nothing fancy, but you are welcome to them.
