Follow the link to see the coil pair on hipStamp. The item has a cert … but once again I find the perfs lining up more like a rotary pair as opposed to a flat plate pair. What do others think? https://www.hipstamp.com/listing/us...air/28901945
The pair has a good chance as two knowledgeable stamp people would have passed on the pair based on the date of the certificate. Both Randy Shoemaker (now PASAG) and Bill Litle would have seen the pair. Mistakes do happen, but the probability is good that it is genuine. One needs to look at the actual perforation holes before deciding yea or nay.
Mr. Crowe … I did eventually bid on the item, but at least two others wanted it more than I did. Nevertheless, I thank you for offering me your expert opinion.
