This is my first memory card, which appears to be more than the typical German (or Greater Germany, in their view) commemorative postmark on piece. I've done some looking on line, and I'm not that certain why these were created. (The underlying stamp is a Red Cross semipostal.) If you have a good story about these, or any to post, please share...

It is from occupied Poland. Here is some info about the city during WWII under German occupation.

It is a very nice piece. I am jealous. When I get a chance I will post some pics of the Occupied Poland stamps I have.

These kind of pieces are fairly common. The rare thing about this one is the city of Radom. You don't see too many of those around. They are out there but harder to find.

For anyone not that fluent in German, those cancels celebrate the first (ein) and fifth (funf) anniversaries of German occupation of Poland. Thanks for sharing.
