I have a question about a particular souvinor sheet in my collection. I have what I beleive is a 750 with gum. According to my search results on this forum as well as my research on stampsmarter (a resource that I love and can't imagine life without) the 750 was issued without gum. My understanding is also th reprints, 769, were also issued with out gum.
I read a few rumors that some reprints were actually gummed at the request of Farley's special recipents. Has this ever been confirmed?
Any ideas or thoughts would be appreciated! I will try to get images as soon as able, I do not own a scanner.
750 was issued with gum. The reprints were issued without gum, and a few full press sheets were sent in later for gumming. With very little doubt, yours is a normal 750.
