All,

Apologies if this has been discussed before - I did attempt to search.

Is there any setting hidden in ebay so you don't have to see sponsored items in ebay when you are looking through a category?

There are exceptions, but for the most part, the items are absolute garbage priced at ridiculous amounts.

Just like almost everything else ebay seems to pick for me to look at, I have almost zero chance of ever buying any of these items.

I sometimes wonder who creates their algorithms and whether they actually produce results in other categories. How can they be so abysmally bad for me? I am constantly getting ebay emails highlighting items I have never searched for or even looked at in my 20+ years on ebay. If it isn't stamp related, I probably have never looked at it. Please stop sending me ads for trending women's shoes and yoga pants. While I might smile at a pretty girl wearing them, I don't wear nor buy woman's anything.

Thanks in advance - I just simply don't want to see their suggestions!

You may find that you will get nothing but sponsored listings as ebay makes more money from them.

They are like ads in a magazine, you just have to skip over them.
