So what interests you? Is it the possible value. Are you intrigued? This is a 'looping' art, no pun intended. What you learn about, one single stamp, you learn about all the rest. Let me assume, you have never tediously, looked over a stamp. Choose one of the stamps (off paper) Handle the stamp with a set of tweezers. Notice the reasons it is not superb mint. There will be flaws; short perferations , tares, smudges, color fades, and a dozen more reasons it has a 'value', like size and color, or year of issue. Years ago, hinging was exceptable. Today, not so much. So the back of the stamp has 'value' as well. Seriously, take just that one stamp, and just study it for a while. Because, if you showed up here too find value now and in the future, you are better off understanding the art of philately, as a hands-on approuch. The way you learn too 'read' a 'single' stamp, will allow you too do what the others posters did. One quick look at your collection, and they know every value, give or take a perf or two. Just some free advise, your already here, why not learn it. As much of an art this is, it can truly be rewarding, $$$. if you take the time, too not waste time. Best thing you could buy is a perforation gage and a color packet. Happy hunting...... |
