On several
ebay listings, sellers will list the cheaper rotary press printed stamp as the more expensive flat plate press printed stamp where varieties of both exist.
In most cases this is accidental and due to the seller not knowing the difference of how to tell them apart along with the fact that flat press stamps are usually listed earlier first so that when the seller first finds the listing, they may assume that this listing covers everything for that stamp and fail to see the footnote that lists other related numbers such as in "Also see...."
Usually, a difference in perforation gauge is enough to separate them such as 11 x 11 for flat and 11.25 x 10.50 or 10.50 x 11.25 for rotary.
Sometimes when one points this out to a seller, they will not believe you and suspect that you are trying to get the value of their stamp reduced instead of pointing them to the correct catalog number.
It can be an uphill battle trying to help others to correctly identify a stamp that they want to sell.
