65B Horizontal Laid Paper, Help Needed

hi community, I would like some help.

i found this stamp believed to be a 65 b laid paper in a lot I am sorting.

i have done the WM fluid but I found nothing "strange"..but to be honest...not quite sure what to look for on this paper type.

below the front and 2 back photos with side light showing what I think are the lairs.

i would like the opinions of the community as the stamp is not very pretty so sending in for cert is not really an option...

also I was wandering...in SAN it only shows 11 sold used and 3 with other condition, total of 14 sold in auction over the last 10!! years. is it that rare...?? but the price does not seem to reflect, or am I missing something?

Any chance at posting a backlit image? I find the those small LED flashlights work well for backlighting.

what are you looking for in this one, and also what should I look for in the WM fluid?

Sometimes soft paper appears to my hobbyist eye to have a geometric-like pattern. Obviously laid paper would only have lines, not the more mesh-like appearance of a simple soft paper. I was hoping to see the laid lines but for whatever reason(s) your backlit images do not seen to reveal the paper construction well. But thanks for trying.

This is ribbed paper, which is evident to the eye but will often not show in fluid. Laid paper would certainly show fairly clearly in fluid. I suggest re-reading the earlier thread about ribbed paper.

It would be nice to get some better images of the stamp, perhaps on a black background and another with oblique lighting shining perpendicular to the ribs of the paper. The images provided have so much light flooding the image that the nature of the paper is almost impossible to see. Since the laid paper 1861's are not really on a true laid paper or even a faux laid paper, looking for "laid lines" is not going to work. Also, calling this a ribbed paper as if it were like the ribbed paper of the Continental bank notes is not really correct either. It may appear to be a ribbed paper of some sort but I can just about guarantee that is where the similarity ends.
