Hi, Need Help Identifying These 2 Mexican 1 Centavo & 2 Centavo 1913 Stamps

can anyone give me any information regarding these stamps. I collect mainly Canada & USA, so have little knowledge of Mexican stamps

Thank you for starting a post on Mexico stamps - I happen to have been gifted an unheard of amount from Mexico - many so old not in great shape. I looked at the link but could not find a great deal...any ideas on an additional site? Maybe a Spanish Language site?

The first scan appears to be all revenues. If before 1915, they can be found in the Forbin catalog:

The second scan are all postage stamps issued from between 1886-94. There are differences in perforation measurement, paper and watermark. These and others can be found in your local library, probably in the reference section, in the Scott catalog volume with Mexico. In case you were wondering, badly off-center designs for the issue are just that and not errors of any sort.

Thank you so much. A lot of work ahead on these Mexican stamps :) Hoping to save them from disintegrating as they were not properly stored. Last question. Trying to find information on a Black on tan 1881 Melchor Ocampo stamp. I can find orange, Violet, sage/turquesa but I can't find the black version that I have. I appreciate any assistance. Nora.

This is Forbin 6, the 50 centavos with color as gray brown ("brun-gris"). The tan color is toning/ageing of the paper. If revenues become a major interest, there is a more recent catalog (2011?) by Michael D. Roberts, Mexico's Revenue Stamps

Thank you for the information, I will check out your link on the Mexico organization. My great aunt from Mexico is who gifted me all of the stamps. As you can imagine the US and Mexico Bags were giant - but not organized. I Hope I can save some of the older Mexican stamps - the material is different very thin and at times brittle. Appreciate it.
