I have just got a reused envelope from 1941 with the Cramersburg, Saskatchewan split ring cancellation.

Google maps only shows a space in the middle of Saskatchewan and Bing maps has nothing but a road (32) near by. The only reference I can find on line is to a cemetery at what is descried as the "former Dutch Village" of Cramersburg. The original address was a William De Vry.
None of the references I have here in the UK have any info. as to when the post office here shut and what happened to the village. I assume that it was just abandoned.
Can anyone please fill in some gaps the write up is looking a bit devoid of facts at he moment..
