I feel like at some point these 2 stamps were joined somehow, since they came from the same lot. But I have no clue what's going on here or how these 3 stamps lined up.

Unless they both happen to have the same plate number folded on the back individually?

The odds of having the same plate number on 2 separate coil stamps? I didn't have a lot of 385's in the lot, only these plus a pair.

Meh, prob right and I'm just spinning my wheels.

Edit: never mind, figured it out. Someone broke up a pair and I put the other unused stamp in my album.

Two totally separate occurances. The one with the hinge apparently lost it's paste up tab, only a shadow of what was there remains. It happened quite often when they were soaked off envelopes.

Still, surprising to have the same plate number considering the lot only came with 5 385's. No worries. If anyone is interested I'm going to put it and others in the want to trade section.
