French Indochine Sc#59

It is a stamp of French Indochina Sc # 59.
Overprinting is a variety (2mm between 0 and 5 instead of 1.5mm)
If you have this stamp (normal overprint) please send me a scan or possibly make an exchange.
I want this to identify the originality of the overprint.
I did not find anything on the net about the existence of the forgery of this stamp

Meassurement should be between the narrowest parts of the overprint, so a bit lower than you are measuring right now.

If you use a ruler, make sure it is level(perfectly horizontal)
On the picture it is at a slight angle, when it comes down to millimeters this can have a big effect.

I personally think it is a normal 1,5 mm example.

I think that measurement is good.
I have a stamp pair with normal and variety overprint.See the difference:

I also find it interesting in the last scan that the lettering in SULTANATE D'ANJOUAN in the left stamp is not only angled but has distorted letters, too. So the plate for that was more likely made by photographic transfer rather than composed of individual clichés.

But what about of French Indochine stamp?
The paper of mine is gray-white and the overprint is thicker that "perf12"stamp.

In your Anjouan pair;it looks like the right stamp is 1.75 mm spacing.
The spacings that exist are thus: 1.25mm,1.75mm & 2.00mm.The 1.75 is the rarest.The différences in spacing are due to an erroir in the "space" type sets placed between the 1 & 0, or 0 & 5.These can be identified and have sheet positions.
The main varieties of these surcharges is the top of the "5" (in red) with a thick top;and the numeral "1" in the 10 (in black) with
a small black smear obove the numeral "1".This was due to a spacing type set that was loosend during printing and touched the paper.
It is a scarce variety found mostly on the Anjouan 40c & Guadeloupe 40c,but may exist for other colonies.
