The stamp is very white (look at the back).
It has the typical fraying of the soft porous paper on the perforations.
but neverthless the whitish paper is not so typical for the scott 77? What you think abouth this? Could also be bleached..

I think you are right. You can see it at the perforations on the bottom that are worned out like by the examples on the link scott 77 http://www.usphila.com/us/stamp/pri...t-77-page-10.
