Anyone have the story on Estonia Scott 216a. Listed as perf 13 x 13 1/4 vs the standard 216 at perf 14. There is no additional note as to why there is no value. I gives and issue date of 3/5/96 for the 216a and a date of 3/23/93 for the standard 216.
The Scott date for the reprinted stamp is consistent with the Estonian Heritage Society Catalogue of Republic of Estonia postage Stamps and Postal Stationery.
The value given for the reprinted stamp is .50 mint and .50 used. The original/initial printings are valued at 1.50 mint and .50 used.
I assume Scott # 216 is Michel # 205 In Michel catalogue 3 stamps are listed 205Av : perf 14 x 14 1/4 on coated paper,date of issue March 23,1993 205Aw : perf 14 x 14 1/4 on normal paper,date of issue March 1994 205Dv : perf 13 x 13 1/4 on coated paper, date of issue March 5,1996 And catalogue values are the same for all of them.
My 2005 Estonian catalogue (Eesti Muinsuskaitse Selts)gives to the 1996 issue of the stamp (#206g) 1/3 of the value of the two other issues, mint and the same (minimum value) used.
Thank you all for your help. Great to have some perspective from other catalogs. I did not figure I was setting on some great rarity, but wanted to know for sure before tossing them in the common bin.
