Just bought a return of a roll of 21 stamps (one gutter strip of 14 with the back inscriptions plus 7 others attached or loose with two tinny one's that only have the space for the price) at the post office.
Very happy to be there at the same time as the customer was reimbursed.
The perforations are not aligned with the design of the stamps. Tagging is in the right place but because of the shift die-cut, tagging is different in three different ways.

Pollux, you did good. You now have some nice miscut/perforation varieties. Way more important than tagging as that is only a condition due to misperfing. And that stip, a real stunner. Starter plus inscription in a strip. A real showpiece for a coil collection.

Too bad you did not know where the rest of the coil went.

No1Philatelist, the other stamps on that roll were used by the client. He went to the post office to request a refund or an exchange on a full box of 10 rolls (+/- 500 stamps all defective) Apparently he was pretty much tired of having to cut the stamps with scissors to get them utilisable. The postmaster agreed to sell me what was left on the open roll only. The 9 sealed rolls remaining in that box (misperfing) were returned to Post-Canada for destruction. I did not insist on buying more, he was under no obligation to sell any, and I did not want to lose this opportunity.

Too bad he would not let you have a couple rolls as that would have been wonderful. Oh well your fortunate to get those, and now he knows you are a serious collector. But also you now know there are a bunch of the used pieces that are on letters out there somewhere. Used on cover would be great to obtain also.

My postmaster gave me the name and number of another local collector today that is selling their collection. An opportunity I hope.

It was a good thing that you were there at the right place and at the right time to save a remnant of this error. The person who returned the full rolls in the box, while being aware that these stamps were not "right", missed out on a very big philatelic opportunity. However, the destruction of most of these errors, if they only occurred there so far, will mean that what you picked up is even more rarer as a result.
