If it is definitely a 70 then I would have to say it looks closer to a 70d certified image I have (just the digital image - not the stamp) than any other. But there is something slightly worn about it that makes it very hard - not to mention that both are just digital images. Good luck. |

Finches. In person it is Deep Blue Gray on thin paper which makes it an early shade 1861 printing. My ref. stamp is lot 177 in the William K. Herzog Collection sold at Richard Frajola auction In Oct. 23, 1981. |

Update. Contacted by the PF yesterday. Decision coming this week as stamp was returned by their consultant. Stay tuned. Last chance to vote before PF cert. |

Decision is back from Philatelic Foundation. Will reveal more when I get the PF certificate back. I can tell you, 84% of all who voted were wrong. |
