The one cent express and the two cent express have foreign entries of each other, apparently they were both on the same transfer roll.

Dick is ,once again, the expert on this plate. This is sometimes called the "reworked" plate, a 2 cent plate poorly erased and used for the one cent stamp. About 18 positions show foreign entries in bottom 1's. Plate also has dt @ top ,short transfer,stray dots,and clear portions of 2 cent design in some positions.

Ok, just to confirm, I should add these to the plate variety reference as foreign entries, not double transfers.

Dick Celler indicates the reworked plate idea is a myth. Dick believes they are all foreign entries caused by over rocking the transfer roll. Good enough for me.
