Hi, Uboatnut, thanks a lot, that pdf is just what I need! It's a good summary which I did not find on the web, even in USPS' official website. Now I know that there is not an overlap but 2 blank years without new stamp issue but 2 sheets instead! Good work, waiting for your future updates! ----- By the way , it's also great to know that the Rooster is the starting point of the American lunar year stamp series! I happen to have a whole sheet of that stamp, and feel much more unique now! :-) And the 4 and 8 pricing detail is also a very interesting information! |

There haven't been many rats visiting this thread, so here is a really nice Polynesian Palm Rat (Rattus exulans) - enjoying a good meal in a palm tree. Climbing a palm tree is easy for a rat. These rats have become a serious pest on some Polynesian islands and a threat to endemic animals. The artwork was done by J. Leou, 2008 |

Steller Sea Eagle (Haliaeetus Pelagicus) (It's pretty unexpected & surprised to find a rat under the claws of this sea eagle when I took a closer look expecting to see some kind of a fish. The designs of this set of raptors are quite unique. The designer tends not to use mainstream foods for the birds. Another example is the butterfly in the mouth of an eagle owl in previous page. But it's fun and educational to know their other diets. :-) ) |

Hi, Alexey, thanks a lot, but I have problem with youtube. There is also a version starred by Tom & Jerry, which is not a civil war at least! And the nutcracker is really unique! :-) |

Can't imagine that even auspicious magpie catching rat like a raptor, it's really a dangerous world for the rats! (Magpie is believed to be bring good luck in China, and often depicted with plum blossom to add happiness to jubilant occasions as a pun meaning one's delight appears around the eyebrows. & |
