The four striped mouse is also common in Zimbabwe. Note the similarity in the surroundings pictured on the two stamps: Botswana and Zimbawe - it looks like a field of dry corn stalks. stamp of 2008  |

 When I see this scene, I can't help laughing. There is a Chinese idiom ( two-part allegorical saying) : Dog chases mice, it's none of your business! :-) And in China, Tintin's dog is called White Snow for word-to-word translation . |

Hi Idebee. Yes "mysha" is for mouse,"kit" for cat,"nosorih" for rhinoceros....  Here are romanian mice in love  And a mouse in love with an owl !!!  |

Bárđur Oskarsson (born 1972) is a Faroese children's writer, illustrator and artist. His books have been translated into several other languages. The dog, the cat and the mouse are the main characters of his favorite book. The stamp was issued as an EUROPA stamp in 2010, the topic that year was children's stories.  (Idebee, The tails of true mice and rats are practically without hair; the chipmunk in your Korean stamp has a bushy tail. K.) |
