Found this one interesting It was mailed and registered Aug 18th 1914 in Havelock post office then went by train (Mont.S. Falls & Toronto R.P.O. Train No. 36) to Marmora and into Marmora post office on the 18th.
The next day it was put on another train (Trenton & Maynooth R.P.O.) to Coe Hill and finally canceled by the Coe Hill post office.
Probably not uncommon for a cover to have three post office and two train R.P.O.'s but this piece of mail traveled less than forty miles to do it.
Going by the date mailed it also may be a 113c Sage green that was issued in 1914, if it is the sage green it jumps in value on cover from $20 up to $75.
All comments and assistance greatly appreciated. TIA

Cheers, Bill

Do you think Mr. John Simpson was Postmaster at Glen Alda? or is that a "Post Restante" address?

Mr. John Simpson was never a Postmaster at Glen Alda.

Andrew Post was apparently the Postmaster at the time this cover was mailed.

No he was not the postmaster but he did live in the lot right beside the postmaster.
The postmaster for Glen Alda was Mr. Andrew Post and he rarely used his canceler however I do have one item with the Glen Alda cancel that proves he had one.
Counting Glen Alda you could add another post office to the list above.

Cheers, Bill
