Hello,

This letter was in a German lot that I bought some years ago, so I supose it's from Germany, but really I have no idea..

Can you please help me to identify it?

Thanks in advance! :-)

This is a German prestamp cover from Parchim, Mecklenburg-Schwerin.

The Feuser/Muenzberg Deutsche Vorphilatelie Stationskatalog lists it as #2690-6. Chronologically, it is the 6th type of marking for Parchim. First recorded use is 1830, and a value of 20 DM ( approx. US$10) is given.

The cover was sent to the village of Barnin.

This is near Crivitz and both are close to Parchim.
