Hey All, I have a question about four covers that were mailed from Afghanistan in the 1920's. Each was mailed to Peshawar, India (in modern day Pakistan). Also each received Landikhana postmarks which was on the border. Three out of four covers received the additional Indian stamp I guess because Afghanistan was not part of the UPU at the time. The fourth cover didn't have the Indian stamp thus there's postage due handstamp instead. My question - Can anyone tell which town(s) in Afghanistan these covers came from? The oval postmarks are the Afghani town postmarks on Scott 217. I'm guessing Kabul, but not certain. Thanks, Will
