One European Letter And Cover Confounds Me?

In my rush to obtain letters with the most magnificent manuscript writing I find myself with this one which I have no idea of. But it is just so pleasing to my eye to look at!

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Well, hard (impossible ?) to identify exactly from photo, but probably worth quite few dollars. Nice cover. Do you have a stamp club near-by with, hopefully, n expert in this area? In any case take good care of it, it is very nice.

I read the address as:

Maschwanden

The spelling of Maschwanden on the outside and inside appear to be different but googling "Nievergelt" and (the village of) "Maschwanden" gives a number of hits spread over many years.

Yes, he definitely left the "s" out of Maschwanden on the front. The word above "Präsident Nievergelt" is "Herrn" (Mr.).

Any corrections of my texts in German or English by experts and native speakers are welcome. As I do not speak German and my vocabulary of the language is limited, I largely depend on guesswork based on my dictionaries and grammar manuals.
