Hello everyone
Got a real oddity here...Scott 168 "King George V – Arch/leaf issue"
Look at the cancel on this stamp –
July.12.1920The Scott 168 was issued
November. 5.1930
Now I am struggling with the cancel..Maybe a few things happened...
1 – When the stamp was cancelled, the postmaster/worker did not change the old date.
2 – When the stamp was used, maybe the postmaster/worker forgot to change the
year date...But that would still put a cancel approx. 4 months before release date. (possible..?)
3 – It may have been cancelled to do a favor for a friend/stamp collector.
Very hard to understand why this cancel is on this stamp...Any ideas/opinions..??
OR I AM MISSING SOMETHING HERE.. This may embarrass me if I don't know what I am posting...haha
Robert

Also weird right eye on king...??
