Where in Poland were these stamps canceled?
At left, the cancel reads "SOBOTA ___ _____." My sources say there are 3 Sobotas in Poland. The 2 words to right of SOBOTA tell us which one, but I haven't been able to figure out what those words say.

At right, the cancel reads"OSTROWI _ _ _ W". My sources don't list a place whose name begins Ostrowi and ends with a W.
My thanks in advance for any help with these puzzlers.

First one is much harder like you indicated. I don't know if this is one of your choices, but it is listed on the postal service site in Poland. It fits sort of with the little shown of the letters, but not perfectly. Sorry.
Sobota k Lwówka, Poland

Your Welcome. As I've told many others, I speak two languages. English and really bad English.

Hey the more I look at that first one, could it be a precancel instead of used? The examples I've seen are very similar, but can find no examples of Sobota something. A puzzler indeed.

Thanks again. Ibelieve you're correct, too, about Sobota, Lwowka. Did a google on that name & came up with a Sobota kolo Lwowka Slaskiego.

I like the suggestion of "Sobota k Lwówka"

One of the three villages called Sobota is near Lwowek Slaski (accents removed)

So maybe Sobota in the area (krag?) of Lwowek.

I see you're well ahead of me EdziuMM.
