Actual Printing Plate For Scott Specialty Page

Countless posts have been made for printing your own album pages. What about the printing plates that actually printed Scott pages back in the day?

I came across this printing plate for Scott Specialty, a page of Sweden stamps. Has anyone else seen something like this floating around? A neat association piece for my stamp room.

Wow. I, too, have a letter press metal cut for an individual stamp, but have never seen a complete album printing plate. Thanks for sharing.

I guess that's the old-fashioned way, and it looks very elaborate. They had to include a border on each printing plate it looks like. And of course they needed a plate for every page. Can you imagine the amount of storage that took? Does this mean that Scott got rid of all these old printing plates at some time? Anyone know how they print pages now? I imagine from a computer to a printer . . . Is that correct?
