This stamp is graded 100J. I can understand the "J" but by what stretch of the imagination can this stamp be considered "100"? And they have the nerve to call it "perfectly centered"!
Graded 100? Only if you buy into it. On the other hand it does have a Greene certificate which I think is more important than someones opinion on centering.
Truly nice for a jumbo, probably the best centered one I've seen, but if a better centered one gets sent in, they'll have to make a 105 or something like that(?) What the heck, just call it a 150.
Looks like an exceptionally nice 5c. You have to $tep up to buy material this choice.
On the other hand -
The VGGF does not grade, and won't be pleased to see the seller "name-dropping" and using this marketing spin.
I believe (could be wrong) the seller is grading using his own expertising standard, not at "arm's length". He can call it whatever he wants, caveat emptor.
