Did The PF Get This Rg22 Incorrect

An update. So I had send the Siegel firm an email and a note about this item. Today I heard back from Scott Trepel. While Scott never received my inital email, he did also hear from the Philatelic Foundation who contacted him about the issue.The PF advised of the fake irreguardless of the recent certificate. The Siegel firm contacted the buyer and advised of a voided sale.Sometimes the right thing happens even if its not very public. My respect to the auction house on this issue.

Resurrecting this thread, as I came across what I believe to be another faked RG22 as I was searching online for double transfers to add to my census. Not a double transfer like the first stamp, but presumably fake nonetheless.

It sold for $350 on ebay on July 12, 2024 with 1 bidder. It has a serial number outside the accepted range for RG22, and also has similar handstamp cancels to the stamp that this thread originally was about.
