Is it just me, or does it seem that the classic Belgian Congo stamps are more likely to have socked-on-the-nose cancels than your average postal authority? It's not just Stanley Falls, or Matadi. This seems to be the case with several postmarks, which rules out just one or two careful postmasters.

I'd be interested in your thoughts. (And scans.)

I took a random stab in the dark, and dismissing the uncancelled,
had 5 from 18 that's 36%
The occurence drops away markedly after 1946

I would honestly have to say that the vast majority of my used Belgian Congo stamps are nicely cancelled as well.

Sure wish some of the other postal entities would follow suit
