Won this cover on ebay a few days ago. I like the Steamship envelope,but also the pillar box postmark and the stamps are ok too. :)

Very nice. Was this in fact carried on ship? Maybe somebody just used ship stationery? If a ship cover.........Be interesting to get the history - e,g, was this posted on board? Paquebot? Are there markings on the back?

A beautiful very clean cover but I expect the top of the envelop is not in great shape though.

Today I received another ship related cover. Apparently this ship made many voyages during WWII also with captain Krafft.

Presumably the previous comment was directed at the original cover posted, given that George V died on 20th January 1936, with a bit of help from his physician.
