How do you determine if this set is genuine vs counterfeit? There is no guidance in the Scott Catalogue. Thanks.

There are forgeries that have not an open but a closed Q(looks more like a O).

In general you have to assume all are forged, since the forged outweigh the genuine by at least 100:1. There used to be a great site for these, but it looks as if he's taken the Albert I stuff down and only left the Merode.

"There is no guidance in the Scott Catalogue" Scott Catalogue is not made or published to be a answer to everything . That is why people publish books .I been buying Scott Catalogs for 52 years ,they do a decent job .
