All,

I have a nice copy of WV3 I am probably going to list on ebay.

Question is should a mint copy have gum?

I can't find mention of it anywhere.

PSE has never certed a WV3 and as you know PF has been down for a few weeks, so I can't look there.

"Pat Paragraphs" states this issue was used in Boston around Nov 1864 and no reprints or forgeries were known at the time of his article. Doesn't discuss the gum or no gum question.

Help!

Thanks in advance!

I see no reference to the presence or absence of gum in Bob and Marjorie Kantor's book on the Sanitary Fairs
