Florence Municipal Vignette : Lily. Possibly described in a note in Koeppel's Italian Municipal Revenue Stamps, 1999 first edition. Fiscal stamp. It was used as a proof "riscontro" of the registration tax payment. They were not sold to the public, but just used by the tax clerks.   |

Thanks Cursus,  I am up to "K" in my mounting worldwide. When I get to "S" and SPAIN, I am dreading that, it is a HUGE undertaking. but what fun! Currently I have a "Pauper's fridge" only a few limp carrots, rice, and sprouting potatoes. Monday I shall be forced to ease isolation, and sprint to the shops and back. Hi Rodney The wife and I are doing well, thanks for asking. While you are at it, better add a building next to the garage for a stamp room  Amazing that the software is still running. The stuff I write today is way more sophisticated since I have learned a lot. A bank is still running some of my software I wrote in the late 80's. Jerry B |
