One benefit of being quarantined -- plenty on time to get caught up on stamp projects! After putting in hundreds of hours of work over the past 6 months or so, I finally finished the complete redesign of my website.

I first put my collection online in 2006, and completed v2.0 in 2015. While v2.0 was a big step forward due to the switch to Wordpress, there were always a few things I wasn't happy with. Most critical was that it wasn't fully responsive, meaning it didn't always scale properly to different screen resolutions, notably mobile devices. Second, WordPress and its plugins require constant upgrades (often weekly), and if you're not careful when you customize your site, you can be forced to re-implement any custom coding you've done every time there's an upgrade. I wasn't aware of this when I first started with WordPress, and a lot of my custom code made it a pain to run routine upgrades without breaking things. Finally, it was just time for a new look.

So, without further ado, GermanStamps.net v3.0. A few screenshots.

A lot of the content has been moved to the main landing page. The menu at the top allows quick navigation within the landing page.

The biggest substantive changes were to the function that allows you to search for stamps in the collection. Previously, there was a form you could use to search based on several criteria. I've moved those functions to a sortable/filterable table, making it quicker and easier to find what you're looking for.

The search screen also allows you to get details on the stamps in a modal window.

The pages for individual sets have been changed to add watermarks, issue dates, the page from the physical album, and any certificates.

The pages displaying the album pages are better organized to make it easier to see the entire physical collection on one place.

So feel free to poke around and try it out. Let me know if you have any feedback, suggestions, bug reports, etc.

Not just a great site, but your programs are very useful as well! I highly recommend the PMGS Stamp Fix program for anyone who has not yet tried it, saves a great deal of time in making your scanned stamp pics look nicely rotated and cropped.

Use it every day, I can do 40 stamps in the blink of eyelid.
I make a small donation every year, for the usage.
Has saved me 1000's of hours or work.
