This was a nice recent pickup. Scott doesn't describe it any better than the Subject.


I'm a little concerned about the middle overprint at the top as it is very weak. But this could be normal for this issue? The back is nice and clean, unsealed. Comments?

The weak overprint in the middle is not typical of the issue. If you read the introductory material in Scott you will find that this is not the tripe impression listed in the catalog. The surcharge inverted at lower left is considered a freak, not an error and the value of multiple overprints goes down as they get further from the stamp. Still an interesting piece.
