Is the "revised feedback" number on ebay based on the entire history of the account holder, just is that number the amount of revised feedback in the last month, 6 months or year?

What do you all consider a high number of "revised feedback" to where a buyer should be wary?

Just in case folks don't know where to look.

Isn't the ebay feedback system just great.

I think the revised feedback number is a count of the number of times a buyer voluntarily revised a feedback for a seller. The number of times ebay revises feedback at the seller's request is not shown. My guess is that it is a lifetime count.

I wonder why they would track this and I wonder why they would go to the trouble to add a 'detail popup' that provides no real details?

Interesting example using NY Stamps - LOL.

I haven't checked but I would hope this is also reflected on the buyer pages - A large number of revised feedbacks on the buyers side would be a great red flag to sellers. I don't think it is really a worthwhile or neccessary parameter on the sellers feedback page as most revised feedback is a result of getting buyers to revise malicious or incorrectly left feedback. At least in my 20+ years of ebay experience.

In actuality feedback is a parameter that is practically useless.

My 2 cents for today.
