The first stamp is in my collection and I was trying to find a replacement because of the stain shown in the beard. When I was looking I came across stamp two in the sold listings on e-Bay. (not mine) These two stamps appear to be stained in the exact same spot and in the same colour. Is this just a weird coincidence or is there some other explanation?
Considering that both stains have the same size and shape, and appear to be in the same location, I would surmise that at some point in time they were stacked in a glassine envelope of an owner who accidentally let some extraneous material (tobacco fibers, or food, perhaps) stain them.
I've got to laugh at this but rod22 is correct. I guess I do own the second one as it's the same stamp. My apologizes to everyone I never realized it was the one I had purchased that I was looking at in the sold listings. Disregard this post or better yet remove it. Sorry guy's, I didn't mean to waste your time.

Hey Bill ! no problems at all. Don't give it a second thought. Only the brave make the boners. If one posts, one is bound to make howlers occasionally. It comes with the territory.
The only real problem, if one does NOT post, afraid of making a mistake.
