Is it that much of value and secondly fly if it is so then why? The stamp by looks, look like a very ordinary ome.

Hi Nonu. The 2019 Mundifil (Portuguese) catalogue, 8th edition, for former Portuguese colonies shows this stamp as Macau #443. Listed catalog value is E 100 (NH), E 70 (hinged), E 14 used. The complete set of three catalogs E 180 in Mundifil.

The printing for this was 500,000 copies, with 2 million copies each for the 0,05 avo and 5.00 pataca values. Why is this value cataloging higher than the other two values? Don't know, other than perhaps the lower printing figure.

As an addendum, I checked the web site of Joaquim A.S. Macas in Lisbon (www.filatelia.com.pt). I've done business with them, both in person as well as by mail from the US. They charge E 129 for the complete set of 3, NH, versus $316 NH on Stamp World for the set of three. Today, the Euro was about $1.08 USD, on xe dot com. I would conclude that Stamp World is grossly over priced.

it show a hammer price of € 45 for the pair. It claims Yvert & Tellier catalogues them at € 205. I do not know if it is for the pair or the set that includes another one.
But Climber Steve added some info from a Portuguese catalogue and dealer. I think that is more useful information.
