The issue with binder rings grabbing pages is mostly due to 'user error', users open and close the rings by pulling on them. This bends them and brings them out of alignment. AND once they are slightly bent, it is VERY hard to bend the back into alignment. ALWAYS use the mechanisms (typically tabs) on the ends of the binder to open/close them and NEVER pull on the rings themselves. Note: there are some especially cheap binders which do not have any open/close mechanism; avoid these like the plague since they will get bent after a few uses.
