Has anyone seen this? I'm surprised ebay allows it.

The description:

This raises all sorts of questions for me. If I buy it on ebay do the Hipstamp pictures count toward the description? Is Hipstamp buyer protection equal to ebay's. Would I buy something like this from someone who is definitely a little sneaky? Lots of questions but it is an interesting collection.

Maybe since he called it "Hipp" stamps, they don't know what it is? Kidding.

That certainly seems like something that if ebay figures out what's going on they'd be against it.

Found the Hipstamp listing

https://www.hipstamp.com/listing/a-...ron/32504087

This vendor has a net feedback of 1 - 2 positive & 1 negative on Hipstamp. So not an established seller there. The vendor's write up in HS is rather dubious in general. Can't imagine it'll sell there.

They wouldn't allow it if they found it but their software can't find hipp stamps instead of hipstamps

typo fixed

"Red flags" in listing description plus numerous condition issues and some frequently forged stamps. Seller feedback is nil. What could possibly go wrong?

Interestingly, our Baron from Paris has German military medals and a signed picture in which he is a Count.
And Frederick von Lubcke is so famous that Google returns no hits other than this collection on Hip Stamps.

This reminds me of the foreign dude attending college back in the 1950's. He claimed to be Count Les when in reality he was no count at all

Very interesting. I looked at the feedback as a Seller. Not too much, until I looked at the items he "sold". These are all posted as "more than a year ago." It seems that he had a happy buyer for the first transaction:

Then, the next buyer:

And yet another happy buyer (notice that the item number matches the previous one):

Finally, a dissatisfied customer:

Interesting how many copies of a "rare" item they actually had.
