Laurie, Is it unused? If so, does it have original gum? Hinged or unhinged?

The certificate will help determine its resale value.

No original gum so unused, no hinge or remnant.

Please let us know when you get the cert for the #9, Laurie. That will narrow down the range of resale value quite a bit.

Dudley, I almost settled on 70L1L until I saw your 84L1L posting. I agree, that bottom somewhat straight appearing inner line recut was the key. Great job again!

Thanks, Caper. 70L1L would not have worked anyway because the stamp has a guide dot, which 10th-vertical-row stamps do not. There are many cues such as this that enable one to narrow down a plating search from the get-go.

Indeed it is, razor sharp impression, lovely color, and clear on all sides of the design. Love the top row positions.

That's a beautiful set, Al! You certainly have an eye for margins.

I'd be interested in seeing an individual scan of the third 3-cent.

Al E. here's the late plate version of your stamp.

Edit: oops, I checked my plating notation on this stamp and see that it's actually 90L2L not 94. It's an old scan, sorry.
