Thanks ,I have been collecting all the Spanish Colonies and hope to put up more .These colony stamps are all messed up to pricing in the Scott catalog some pricing hasn't changed in 40 years .These Aguera are half the stamps put out by this colony .

Yes ,if I can buy the complete set , I don't buy broken sets ,unless they come part of a larger collection I am buying .

Should put up more Cape Juby because it is the hardest country to complete in the Big Blue series of 1840 -1940 Scott Internationals . There are single stamps like U.S.#2 and the Syrian error but from the Washington Post article the Cape page was the hardest country .

Floortrader, what a stunning collection of the Spanish colonies you've put together. I'm working on a Big Blue Vol 1 myself and have a handful of Aguera stamps from a feeder album, but don't see myself filling the larger holes for some time!

Especially with Cape Juby - those might take awhile. To your point, I still can't understand why Scott hasn't updated the values for these and other Spanish colony issues - but that's another topic for another day.




Funny you should say that - in the past month I've acquired both of those singles! (US 2 was from a larger lot and I was chagrined to realize that the 1947 edition of the album, which I have, doesn't actually have a space for this one, but the 60s and later editions do.)
