That's all of my constant flaws for now.

I'll now post some of the more likely constant candidates from the 'one-offs' that I have seen, in the hope that Tasnaki or anyone alse might confirm them as constant.

These stamps will be given the prefix Q for Question.

Q1. Vertical white flaw right of right star (Watermark 68)

I can confirm this as a constant flaw, it only appears in later printings.

Thanks Tasnaki.
That one now gets upgraded from Q status to constant flaw 42 on this list.

Also a correction, the stamp is on watermark 65 paper.

Both can be classified as constant.

Q2 WM40 is still a UCV

Q3 can be plated as 4A-57

Not a flaw I have seen. Looking at the stamp above it may be 5D-45, check the scan below, the right '1' looks to have the spur. No constant flaws have yet been identified for 5D-51.

Please send me a copy of your scan for the records and a closer look.

Tasnaki

There also seems to be a spur on W of WALES on that upper stamp.

Tasnaki,
If you right-click and save the scans above, they are the same size as the images I have - I didn't need to reduce them when I posted here.

Have had a closer look, 5D-45 & 51 are correct.

The flaw on the W is interesting. It is not on any of my copies but I do have similar on a plate 6 position (other flaws on it and the one below do not match)!

I will keep the shield star flaw on file, it may well be a late print flaw, just need another copy to confirm.

I now know how to get copies of your scans! Thank you.

Tasnaki.

Will allocate that as a constant flaw on 5D-51 pending the discovery of another copy:

45. Large white flaw left of lion (Watermark 68)
