Thanks for posting those, Airgem.

The large flaws on the first stamp have mounds and ridges that indicate that the stamp either has a damaged surface (if strong light shone through from the back of the stamp can readily been seen from the front) or paper adhesions if the areas are dark from the front of the stamp when light is shone through from the back.
