classic coins -- That is a really beautiful example of the spider crack! Here is an example of the so called "quad flaw" on Scott #26 -- position 18L28.  |

I don't have much time these days to participate here but saw the 47R7 stellate plate crack and thought I would post mine. I have posted it before but it has been several years now. Multiples with the 47-48R7 plate crack are very nearly as rare as rocking horse manure.  |

sinclair2010, That's an amazing 47-48R7 pair! I've never seen 48R7. Do you know if there are any other pairs in existence? |

That's quite a pair. I used to have the two positions as singles, but I don't recall seeing a pair.
Also, I always knew of this as the stellate crack. Where did the spider crack term originate? |

A collector with the initials of RL has the two in a strip of three. Those are the only two multiples that I am aware of and may represent the total population. |
