That brings back a fond memory. In 1956 I wrote a radio play based on the trial of Debs for sedition for a speech he made in Canton, Ohio on June 16th, 1918. I titled it "Joy cometh with the morning", taking a line from a Debs speech which still resonates today. "Let the people everywhere take heart of hope...the midnight is passing, and joy cometh with the morning". Joy would be welcome.
